| 5 miles to Tillicum and back. I ran in my sweats because it was cold. Went a straight into cruising a 5:20 mile on the track. Felt comfortable. Can't wait to start workouts.

| Ran on my own mostly today, but the first mile was with Mark. Keeping my ankle in control and feeling fast. I really would like to race, but now is not the time. I need to get back in business this season. BorderClash proved that I'm faster than what I showed for almost all of last Cross Country season and I would like that to carry through into track.

| Explored on my long run at 7:20 pace. Glute only twinged for like the first 3 minutes. Glad I made it through this week with my muscle feeling better before I've even taken my rest day. Would be very surprised if I'm not feeling perfect again on Monday.

| Glute felt good for most of my 10 miler today on the treadmill and I felt pretty good in general so I think I am no longer too sick to run outside. I will resume running outdoors on Monday and hopefully my glute/hip strength exercises as well. Next week is my first at 50 miles, which I may hold till my taper. I could potentially move up to 55 later if my trend of feeling good continues.

| More glute pain, which is puzzling. I'm going to add breaking some of my runs into morning and evening in order to add to the list of things I'm doing to remedy this. I want to get my glute/hip strength exercises back online. My calves are totally strong now, on the bright side.
