I have been running since fifth grade. My favorite professional runners are David Rudisha and Evan Jager. My favorite high school runner is Chris Watson because he periodically reads this blog and should definitely make one.

Time to resurrect the blog. Here's a riveting summary for my huge following of readers: First week I did 22, second week I rolled my ankle and missed two days and hit 20. Today I did my first workout of the summer: 4x800 with 400 jog rest. Goal was 2:30, averaged 2:25. Difficult, but very good for a morning workout in my trainers this soon in the training. Just came back from hitting the weights, almost all legs. Finished off with 5x2min jumprope sessions, which were monumentally aggravating. Jumproping looks dumb if I do it correctly, but it sure as hell looks completely stupid when I mess up every 15 seconds consistently. If that damn rope gets between my legs one more time I'm walking into traffic. Also anybody who sees this, is it okay to have a weight day on the same day as a hard workout? Legs are holding up fine right now.
