Comments: Optimistic about these, although they may be interfered with by my recovery from mono.

Long-Term Running Goals:

- Run for Division 1 program (First goal I've 100% made on here!)

- Compete at NCAA XC and TF Nationals

- Sub 14 5000m on the track

- Make the B standard and go to the trials for the 5k or 10k

Sophomore at Michigan State University in East Lansing

I have been running since fifth grade. My favorite professional runners are David Rudisha and Evan Jager. My favorite high school runner is Chris Watson because he periodically reads this blog and should definitely make one.

5 miles to Tillicum and back. I ran in my sweats because it was cold. Went a straight into cruising a 5:20 mile on the track. Felt comfortable. Can't wait to start workouts.

Ran on my own mostly today, but the first mile was with Mark. Keeping my ankle in control and feeling fast. I really would like to race, but now is not the time. I need to get back in business this season. BorderClash proved that I'm faster than what I showed for almost all of last Cross Country season and I would like that to carry through into track.
